COMMUNITY REVIEWS

The Commission or a principal council may conduct reviews of community areas. A report of such a review carried out by a principal council is submitted to the Commission. The Commission may then submit proposals to the Welsh Assembly Government. Following the publication of the Commission's report there is a period of six weeks when representations may be made to the Welsh Assembly Government.

At initial stages of the reviews and after the publication of draft proposals, the Commission welcomes representations from persons interested in the review. Please note that representations should be submitted in writing (by post or e-mail) by the date specified. In accordance with our policies on openness, we may publish the comments we receive. Normally, the name and address (or part of the address) of its author are published along with the response, as this gives credibility to the consultation exercise.
