Review reports can be viewed either as HTML (Web) pages or as PDF (Portable Document Format) documents by clicking on either HTML or PDF. In order to view PDF files you will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader which can be downloaded from the Adobe Web Site. Where indicated, maps of the area under review can be viewed and printed. These maps are only available in PDF format and, as they are large files, may take some time to download depending on the speed of your internet connection. Printed versions of the reports (with maps) are available on request by Contacting the Commission.
At initial stages of the reviews and after the publication of draft proposals, the Commission welcomes representations from persons interested in the review. Please note that representations should be submitted in writing (by post or e-mail) by the date specified. In accordance with our policies on openness, we may publish the comments we receive. Normally, the name and address (or part of the address) of its author are published along with the response, as this gives credibility to the consultation exercise. If the respondent does not wish to be identified in this way, we ask that this is stated expressly in the response. To contact the Commission please go to Contacting the Commission.
A Statutory Instrument (S.I.) number in the Representations Date column indicates that an order has been made. The S.I.s are available on the web site of OPSI and can be viewed by clicking on the highlighted S.I. number.
From 1 July 1999 the functions of the Secretary of State for Wales (in relation to the Local Government Boundary Commission for Wales) were transferred to The National Assembly for Wales and to the Welsh Assembly Government on 25 May 2007.
